Lifeguards are at Main Beach (between Lake & Park Ave.), Sandy Beach (end of Northern Rd. in Cottagewood),
and Robinson’s Bay (end of Robinson’s Bay Rd).

The City of Deephaven owns mooring facilities. Get your name on the waiting list if
you are interested in a boat slip.
DOG LICENSES Required—purchase at City Hall—cost is $20.00 for two years—renew January 1st. Need proof of rabies vaccine.

FIRE DEPT. Volunteer—provided by Excelsior Fire Department,
phone: 952-474-5056. The city of Deephaven will have their own Fire Department in the near future.
GARBAGE and RECYCLING
Garbage: City contracts yearly with one hauler for the entire city.
Collection is one day a week. Have garbage
out by 7:00 a.m. Pickup day is Monday.
During week of a legal holiday, pickup is one day later.
Current hauler is Waste Management, phone: 952-890-1100.
Need to determine type of service: basic rate plus extra cans. Billed quarterly.
Recycling: Curbside collection is every Monday.
One container is provided per household. Call Waste Management for additional containers available at an additional cost.

PARKS Deephaven Park System contains about 76 acres of parkland.
Thorpe – Cottagewood – Shuck – Cleveland
They feature tennis courts, ball fields, basketball courts, walking, bike and inline skating paths, skating and hockey rinks, playground equipment, picnic shelters, and flower gardens.
PARKING PERMITS
Required May 1st to October 1st at beaches and Carsons Bay launch. One is mailed to each household – stickers for additional vehicles are available at City Hall.
