Chimo: a Native American word meaning Welcome

A quiet, tranquil, wooded neighborhood, sitting on the shores of Carson Bay, Lake Minnetonka, Chimo, is a unique neighborhood in the city of Deephaven, Minnesota.

The Chimo Estate dates backs to the 1890's, with the Chimo Association being established in 1972, dividing 36 acres of the historic land into 28 lots between East and West. Chimo homeowners have use of the association ammentities which includes a private beach and boat docks on the bay.

This neighborhood, with its fascinating history, is a beautiful neighborhood to call home.
